Pidgin - universal modular Instant Messaging (IM) client for Linux. One of the most popular IM-messengers. Pidgin supports many protocols: ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, IRC (Internet Relay Chat), Jabber, Napster, Zephyr, Gadu-Gadu, Bonjour iChat, Groupwise, Sametime, SILC, SIMPLE.

The client has a modular structure and allows one-click connect and disconnect modules (plugins). Originally called Pidgin Gaim. Pidgin dostuppen also for Windows and MacOS X.
